Greta Wagner is an executive team member of Chelsea Piers, a premier sports and entertainment complex that opened in 1995 with locations in New York City and Stamford, CT. In June 2018 Chelsea Piers Fitness opened in Brooklyn, NY to expand the “fitness brand” business model.

Wagner has been in several leadership roles over her 24+-year tenure with the company. Currently, as the Executive Director/EVP of Connecticut, she is responsible for the leadership, direction and financial success of the 500,000+ square foot world-class sports and athletic facility with an extensive array of professional instructors/coaches, year-round sports programming, camps/leagues for children and adults of all ages, competitive team sports, and a luxury lifestyle membership fitness club. Chelsea Piers Connecticut opened in 2012 and has been recognized by Men's Health as one of the top Five Most Innovative Gyms in America and an annual visitation of 1.6 million.

Greta has been a leader on many special projects, new business development, and crisis management task forces working alongside the principal owners of Chelsea Piers, opening multiple new business units and acquisitions, including new construction and overseeing several multi-million-dollar renovations. She took a lead role during the massive restoration of Chelsea Piers, required after Super Storm Sandy in 2012, overseeing a daily labor force of hundreds of workers and outside vendors compressing six months of construction into thirty days.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of IHRSA (International Health, Racquet and Sports club Association) the leading health and fitness association serving 70 countries. Prior to her career at Chelsea Piers, Greta worked in a variety of leadership roles for prominent companies and institutions such as The Harry Macklowe Group, Mass Mutual, Weight Watchers and New York University. She is an active member of SHRM, a speaker/presenter in the fitness and customer service field, and a proven leader in the club industry. She is also a board member of the Fairfield County Sports Commission, Stamford School of Ballet and The Chelsea Piers Scholarship Fund (CT Advisory Board).
