Carol Nalevanko serves as president of DMB Sports Clubs, a privately owned company located in Scottsdale, Arizona. A multi-club operation specializing in upscale family health clubs, DMB Sports Clubs is rated by Club Industry as one of the top 100 clubs in the nation. Facilities owned and operated by DMB Sports Clubs include the Camelback Village Racquet & Health Club, the Gainey Village Health Club & Spa, the DC Ranch Village Health Club & Spa, the DC Ranch Village Tennis Center and the Ocotillo Village Health Club & Spa. For the past 15 years, DMB Sports Clubs have held the top spot in Ranking Arizona Business Magazine. A 40-year fitness industry veteran, Nalevanko graduated from the University of South Dakota and began her career as an activities director at a small, multi-recreational health club in Phoenix. She currently is a member of the Arizona Business Leadership Group, Faust Executive Group, and she served for seven years on the Phoenix Sun’s Charities Board of Directors and served two terms on the IHRSA Board of Directors. Nalevanko was also named Distinguished Business Woman of the Year by Club Industry. At DMB Sports Clubs, Nalevanko oversaw the design and construction of the new $25 million Ocotillo Village Health Club & Spa, the DC Ranch and Gainey Ranch facilities, the DC Ranch Tennis Center, the $7.5 million expansion and renovation of the Camelback Village, along with a new group training facility at the Gainey Village. In 2017, Nalevanko developed a partnership with Troon Golf to offer Village members exclusive golf events and discounts, as well as a designated home golf course for each of the Village Clubs. Nalevanko helped serve the community through her leadership on the Phoenix Sun’s Charities board from 2008 through 2014. Her philanthropic efforts are part of the Village’s culture. Each year the Village donates over $160,000 in-kind donations for various charitable organizations in the Valley.
